Is it wrong to hire to caterers for one wedding reception?

I hope to offer both American and Pakistani foods at my wedding, and would like to hire both an American caterer and a Pakisani caterer and have them work together to make a menu. Is that okay?Is it wrong to hire to caterers for one wedding reception?
if you want your food to be authentic and there is no caterer who does them both to your satisfaction, then it is perfectly okay. just be sure that your venue has enough kitchen space for them to be able to share and that both know the situation to begin with.
The only obstacle I can foresee is that if the two caterers need to use the same kitchen, that could pose a huge problem.

All I know is that if I were having a dinner party, I could not possibly share a kitchen with someone else as it would throw my timing waaaay off.

Ask the caterers how they feel.Is it wrong to hire to caterers for one wedding reception?
As far as etiquette goes, no one would have a problem with that.

However, some caterers might not be willing to work with other caterers. So, I'd start shopping for caterers ASAP if that's what you really want.
first see if you can find 1 caterer who will provide both types of dishes.

Catering companies generally do get hired for single events.
it's your wedding and you can do anything you can afford
Great as long as both caterers agree to work together. You may want to go over their suggestions and work with the two for a good blend of foods/drinks.
That's fine just make sure both caterers are aware of each other.
