I hear that Turkey Vulture meat is a lot like "Tom" Turkeys, and I would like to have a more interesting thanksgiving feast this year and entertain my guests better. Is anyone aware of exotic caterers, such as those who will supply meat from birds of prey?
they might taste very similar. i believe that the american turkey is more closely related to the vulture and buzzard that to chickens.
but would you really want(i mean is it wise) to eat an animal that eats decomposing flesh. actually prefers it. no disease there huh?
a bird of prey is a hawk or an eagle which actually hunt living animals
other carrion scavengers(though these hunt also) to tempt your palate:
hyenas
komono dragons
jackals
How very interesting! I think of birds of prey sort of like I think of eating pike: boney, not alot of meat, more work then their worth! Since your looking to entertain your guests, have you considered a TurDuckHen? Those I KNOW you can order online. Not your cup of tea? Take a look at Braeside Butcher Shop, and when you figure out what a biltong is, let me know!Is anyone aware of exotic caterers, such as those who will supply meat from birds of prey?
No!
