We are having a b'day party at our home for our three year old and will be catering lunch for 25 people. Total food bill is about $500. The caterers are only dropping off the food - not serving, and not cleaning up. How much is it appropriate to tip? 15-20% seems like a bit much....How much to tip caterers?
If they are not serving it tip the driver $10-20 depending on his service. If he is on time, puts it where you ask, offers to help set it up, hasn't forgotten anything it should be enough. If he goes above and beyond you could tip a little more but it is not necessary.
