Hi. It depends on your venue.
If you are having this at a hotel or another banquet facility, then chances are the venue provides the linens. This will be in your contract.
If you are having it at any other site: VFW Hall, etc., then chances are the venue does not have linens.
Some caterers will provide linens, but this would most likely be in addition to the food costs. But....then again, some MAY provide linens. Again, this would be in any kind of contract.
If you have not already chosen a venue or a caterer, then just ask up front once you decide to book!!
As you are probably finding out with weddings, not all places are the same! Some vendors will provide things such as linens included in their package price. For others, these things will need to be purchased separately.
My caterer did btw. She had a linens rental that she worked with. I could go by %26amp; pick any color for the quoted price. If I layered a sheer overlay, she'd just add that in to the final bill. She also rented glasses and silver. It really helped to have one less thing to worry about.

Do most caterers provide table cloths for the reception?it depends, are they a caterer coming to a venue or is the venue a catering hall some catering hall offer simple napkins and table clothes if you want a more upscale table or a upgrade of what they are offering then rent from a party store. good luck duena
some do but they are old stain infested old one some provide then some dont you need to talk to the cater if it is a cater vs a venue more then likely you get them just ask an see if they work with a location that they can get them cheeper
It depends on the caterer. Some offer them as part of the catering package, others have them available if you ask. Some companies require that you go to a regular rental company for them. You won't know anything until you ask the caterer because everyone is different. No one here knows the policies of your potential caterers or what they offer or don't.
Don't assume. Ask.
If its a caterer that shows up to the venue of your choice, they generally do not (but every one I met with had someone they deal with for rentals).
If its a reception place that caters the food for you, they usually have linens available, but colors are often limited so you would have to rent for specialty colors.
Depends on the hall. Some halls include them in your price while some charge you for them, along with seat coverings plus the fees for washing them. Either way, it's really not that expensive.
