My sister is planning her wedding and she (who knows why but the bride's always right ;) ) wants American, Mexican and Chinese food at her wedding reception. Since I picked up the jobs of Maid of Honor, Host, and Wedding Planner I need to know if caterers serve more than one type of food for a wedding party. Thanks :)Do caterers serve more than one type of food?
My suggestion would be to call a caterer........And ask all the questions you have...........At least that is what I would do...Then you can make an informed decision based on the answers you get.......Having more than one type of cuisine is going to be costly I can tell you that much.......
Kind of hard to help with this when we have no idea where this wedding will be.
But to answer the basic gist of your question, caterers usually provide a menu of items that they serve and you choose from that. Special requests cost extra if they're even able to accommodate. But a range of ethnic food from American, to Mexican to Chinese? You're probably going to have a hard time getting that from one caterer unless you have some deep pockets.Do caterers serve more than one type of food?
It can be done but it will be expensive and not easy to find one caterer to do all three.
