Your best bet may be to contact community centers. I went to a function at the Mountainview Community Center in Marietta where the hosts used their own caterers. Also check out the Smyrna Community Center. At one point they allowed you to use your own caterer -- and it's a tranquil setting with a gazebo outside by a pretty pond.
If you have any ties to the military, Dobbins has a lovely area with outside pavillions and a little house, where you could use your own caterer.
Another option: if you have any friends who have a community room in their subdivision. Some are reallly nice -- and of course you can hire whomever you'd like to cater.Are there any reception halls/hotels that allow outside caterers in downtown Atlanta area?
