I'm getting married in August 2009, and we are looking for an indoor/outdoor venue. There would be about 75-80 guests, and we would want to bring in caterers from outside.
Can anyone think of a unique place to hold either the ceremony and/or the reception?Where are some unique places to hold a wedding in Ottawa?
1) Major's Hill Park is lovely and centrally located, although the "indoor" aspect would have to involve renting %26amp; setting up a large tent, or maybe renting out space in a nearby building (such as the Art Gallery, for example).

2) I know you mentioned your own caterers, but maybe consider the Brookstreet Hotel as a venue. It is a fairly new building, very clean, and it backs on to the Marshes Golf Course (both owned and operated by the same company).

3) If you and your guests are the outdoorsy/nature type you might like Petrie Island. Lots of things to do, by the water, and full of nice trails and scenery.
