What are some unique reception programs besides dances and speeches?

I am getting married soon and I am having hard time being a creative while finding caterers, decorators, photographers. So I thought let me turned to great users of Yahoo Answers. I am looking for some ideas to make reception programs stand out from others. Some of my cousins and relatives are going to give dances and speeches. But they are way too boring. I am looking for something creative. For example, game show, personalized videos or skits. Please share your past experience or suggest ideas. Thanks in the advance.

- Rent a photo booth for your guests to enjoy with people throughout the night



- Give everyone disposable cameras and ask them to take as many pictures as possible of the night. Have a bucket at the exit and ask everyone to put them in there, get a bridesmaid to produce the pictures at Wal-Mart (or wherever) while you're on the honeymoon and when you get back, you'll see all the snapshots!



- "Battle of the Sexes" game! Get every woman (including the Bride) on one side of the dance floor and get every man (including the Groom) on the other. Have really hard questions about the bride/groom/couple already preplanned to give to the MC and have them ask, whoever's side answers first gets a point. I'm not sure about what the prize would be, but you can do that personally.



- "Honeymoon Guess". If you haven't told anyone where you're going on your honeymoon, have everyone write down on a scrap piece of paper where they think you're going. Whoever wins gets a dance with the Bride/Groom



- Have a "Longest Together" game/dance! Get all the married couples on the dance floor and let them MC shout out years of marriage (1 year or less, exit the floor) etc, and when you get down to the quick ask the last two couples they're wedding date- whoever wins gets a dance together.
Aww..well you welcome. I thin you can play a alcohol taking shots game. Like you dance and whoever dances with you and put a dollar on you get a shot with you...I dnt know my friend did that in her wedding and it was fun..There is also the bouquet toss and the garter toss..I've also heard of people having a photo booth. Just make sure that the DJ play good updated music of different kind...

i would suggest karaoke roulette. or a photo booth...those are a total blast. you could make up a bride and groom history game show type of thing. thatd be sweet too!good luck and congeats!
