Where can I find a free or inexpensive outdoor ceremony/reception location in San Diego?

We want an outdoor spring wedding and I am having trouble finding locations that don't charge an arm and a leg. We are trying to do the whole wedding for $2000 and we want it at night, with our own caterers %26amp; alcohol. I don't want it too close to the beach because it could get windy and cold at night. Please help.Where can I find a free or inexpensive outdoor ceremony/reception location in San Diego?
I work for an event company in San Diego and I know that keeping within a $2000 wedding budget is no easy task! How many people are you anticipating?

Here are some websites that might be of assistance to you

Check out the city of San Diego website

The problem you're probably going to run into most is the issue of having it at night- many parks will require you to be done by dusk, although some will allow events to go on later into the night. Also, some parks do not allow alcohol, so that is something to take into consideration.

Your best bet is The Port of San Diego

You can have alcohol (at most of their parks), and events can go until 10 pm there. I believe their permit fees are $35 for 0-100 people and $125 for 101-250 peope.

I would suggest looking into city parks. They typically don't charge that much. The wedding bowl in La Jolla is beautiful but only accomodates a small number and is right on the water. Presidio Park is a beautiful location and I think the costs would be reasonable. Learn more about these 2 locations at http://www.sandiego-romantics.com/weddin鈥?/a>

Weddings in San Diego are expensive. Congratulations and best wishes!
