Do you know if you can typically use your own caterer at a Counrty Club Wedding?

I am having my wedding at a Counrty Club and I am curious to know if we have to use them to cater the wedding or can we use our own choice of a caterer? We are not meeting with the lady for a few weeks so I will eventually find out but I am just curious. Thanks!Do you know if you can typically use your own caterer at a Counrty Club Wedding?
Most locations that I checked into either provided the catering themselves or had a list of approved caterers to choose from.
Where I live, you must use the kitchen/staff/catering of the country club as opposed to bringing in your own caterer. That is how they make money, by charging you per plate. I, personally, don't know of any country club that would let you bring in your own caterer.

Suggestion: Even though you don't meet with the coordinator for a few weeks, you can still call her and ask! That is what they are there for....to answer questions and hopefully have you book the venue.Do you know if you can typically use your own caterer at a Counrty Club Wedding?
it depends on their policies, every club is different. surely you can call the woman and get an answer from her over the phone on that so you can start looking for a caterer if you need to, you shouldn't have to wait for your meeting.
95% of the time you won't be able to just bring in your own caterer. They will either have their own vendor or a list that you'll be able to choose from. They do this in order to protect their reputation and ensure the well-being of their guests.
Almost all country clubs have their own caterer. If they have a restaurant, the restaurant is the caterer. Occasionally, you can pay a "buyout" fee to bring in your own caterer, but that's a very, very expensive option. Buyouts can be as high at 10,000.00.
Each country club has thier own policies, but generally they make a ton of money off of their catering and don't allow outside catering.

Again, though you will have to check with the individual facility.
Hmmmm depends on the venue honestly. Probably 50-75% of them will not allow you to bring in a caterer. That is where they get you on their price... their price looks really low until you figure in their catering costs are you are already over your budget before you know it.
If the place has a restaurant there and holds many events then of course you won't be allowed to bring in your own caterer. If it's a more casual golf club without a bar or restaurant than they might.
Different places have different requirements. Unless you already have a relationship with a caterer, the house caterer will probably give you a better cost.
80% would be no.. because they make their money /reputation from the catering

20% -They might have a preferred vendors list for you to choose from

seldom they'll allow you to bring in anyone.
The ones I know of, yes.
