Indian Wedding Caterers?

Hello Everyone,

I am getting married in the first quarter of 2010. I would like suggestions for caterers.

I will be needing South Indian Vegetarian Food

and North Indian Non Vegetarian Food.

I need them for both Northern and Southern California. We have not yet decided as to where the wedding will actually be.

Please give out your positive or negative experiences with any caterers you had in California.Indian Wedding Caterers?
I had an Indian caterer at my wedding in Michigan. My advice is to find an Indian restaurant that you both really like and that comes recommended by other Indians who know the owner. Most importantly is get a caterer with many years in business. To start finding a restaurant start with http://food.sulekha.com

They have a restaurant finder by state and are all 100% Indian owned.

If you are not Indian, I do suggest having an Indian friend deal with your Indian vendors, as they tend to have a VERY different communication style and way of getting their work done correctly.
IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THEIRS DELHI PALACE I BELIEVE IN WOODLAND HILLS CA LOS ANGELES...AND THE OWNER WAS HORRIBLE ,RUDE AND A B****!!!THEIRS ALSO RAAGA IN LA AND THEY ARE GOOD BUT HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!Indian Wedding Caterers?
i would personally recomend, to keep food costs down to a minnimum that you would have your wedding in the middle of india so that the vegi and non vegi food doesn't have to travel to far, i have never used a catering service, nor have i been to india, although I wish you the best of luck on your big day
If you are looking for restaurants, take a look at this

There are probably only a few that can serve both types well. In LA, look at Artesia and in Northern, you are probably good if you see Sunnyvale, Fremont, San Jose, Santa Clara

Congratulations on your wedding!!
